Dear DYWM Team,

this is unrelated to practice but it makes me smile every now and then so i thought i would share and ask:
i am not an english native and i sometimes hear a few of the teachers here say “sitSbones” instead of sitbones and i wonder: is this a regional difference thing? i assume most teachers here are from canada - but not all of them say it like this? to me it sound funny - again, not a native speaker - and i wondered where this originates from 🙂

all the best and thank you!!!

Funny! I often wondered the same thing! I hear teachers use both! What I have come to learn is you can say it both ways, it is a pair of ones, 2 of them. The sitz comes from a german word that means to sit.

haha funny indeed, i am german native and this is why it sounds funny to me as a “Sitz” is a seat (or a command: Sit!) 😃

thanks for your replies!
