Yoga for pronating

I had both my knees replaced in December. This website has been tremendously helpful in my recovery. I would love to get some help from you with my pronation which I really feel when trying to balance. Thank you!

Thank you! I’m happy to hear that you’ve benefited from our resources.

The best way to work on correcting pronation is, when you’re standing, establish equal pressure through the four corners of each foot, then lift from the center arch, through the ankle, knee, hip and up to the top of the head. That way you’ll begin to activate the muscles in your feet that have not been working. It also helps to roll your foot on a ball, like a tennis ball or something a bit harder, massaging it out from heel to toes.

This takes time, though, so you need to be patient.
