Hi.
for the more challenging poses for a person (whether that’s inversions or arm balances or whatnot), how long should one practice them before moving on (whether due to failure or success)? 5 minues? 5 attempts?
Thanks.

Hello Antigone.
That entirely depends on you and what you’re ready for. I remember practicing foot balances (they are very difficult for me) for a full hour, on and off, until my ankles were exhausted. Your best indicator that you’re doing too much is pain during the practice or a lot of soreness during the two days following.
Repetition is the way that your body will learn to do things you find challenging. Keep it up, but be mindful.

Okay thanks. I guess I was asking because I think I hurt my wrists practicing side crow too many times. So your answer that ‘it depends’ makes sense.
