Recommended class for sore piriformis or gluteus Medius or?

Hello , I’m hoping I can ask here about the above problem and see if anyone could recommend a class that would be best as I see there are several. This injury surprised me, as it occurred after trying lawn bowling out (surprisingly) - there is a repetitive lunge used when rolling the bowl. It hurts to sit for awhile. I’ve tried the short hip release that was recently posted. But i think I should do something each day. Hopefully I can ask this here and thank you in advance. (the infuriating thing is that I’m not really even interested in doing lawn bowling :upside_down_face:)

Thanks for the specifics (I looked up what pnf stretching is and found that interesting and helpful as well) . On I go to the videos :+1:!

Rest and time often help for this, you an also try some of David’s trigger point therapy for this, using therapy balls on the hips is magic!

It’s slowly improving thank you. I did the pfs but I don’t own therapy balls, I look for some, but can you use tennis balls?

Heather, likely David may chime in, but he recommended the Tune Up Therapy balls (search for his vids and blog on it) and I like them better bc they don’t create a resistance response as much as a harder tennis ball. Look them up, I have benefited from mine immensely. More effective than a foam roller often and they are easier to use; travel easy too.

I’ve had this problem for years. When it plays up, i use a tennis ball for trigger point therapy. Works really well. Try glute stretching too. Eases the dull deep sensation. David’s ‘Sciatica Relief’ session is excellent!
