I was hit with sciatic pain. What a nightmare! I was on my hands and knees for 2 weeks. Morphine for the pain. Here’s what worked. I bought a pool toy shaped like an inner tube. I wore it up around my chest and got in the pool and hung there for at least 20 minutes a day. Feet dangling. My own body weight stretched, released the muscles and the inner tube and water took all the weight. Used a public pool. Every day for 2 weeks.

somewhere that the Covid situation hasn’t caused a lock down/ shutting
of facilities like public pools.
This was years ago. I used the public pool and then when we went to Mexico, I used the ocean. All together about 3 months of dangling once a day. Not one twinge of sciatic since!!! And, right now, our public pools in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan , Canada have reopened with lots of social distancing. Good luck to you. Sciatic pain and the fear of triggering it…just the worst.
