I have a recurring ankle injury. There are quite a few wrist-free classes, but not so many ‘feet-free’ classes, and most seated classes are gentle or restorative. I’d like to continue working on strength and fitness whilst not able to put weight on my feet.
This is a great idea, and would actually be a challenging class to create. One option would be trying some pilates classes which focus on strength and length but are usually on the ground!
Hi Fiji! A few suggestions: (1) I would love a few more 20-minute classes that are specifically geared toward evening/bedtime. Many days, I don’t have time to do yoga until it’s almost bedtime. The videos you have which are geared toward evening / before bed are really great, but it would be wonderful to have a wider variety of them. (2) I have tight hamstrings, such that I can’t touch my toes (let alone even come close to doing splits). I would love there to be another class or two focused on increasing flexibility in the hamstrings. Thank you for eveything you and your team do - you have transformed my life by enabling me to do yoga on a regular (almost daily) basis!
I’ve been hearing a lot about the benefits of Taichi Walking. Would it be possible to include classes on Taichi Walking on DYWM? I am a senior, almost 69 and I’m sure It would be very useful for people over 50. Thank you!!
Thank you for this idea, I will have to look into this to see if it is something we can film.
Thank you for being part of the community! I love these ideas and will add them to the winter filming list!
Thank you so much, Fiji!! Be well!
